Good Codfishing on New Jersey Wrecks

Codfishing continues to improve on the local and offshore wrecks. More and more cod are being caught by local Party Boats out of New Jersey when the weather cooperates.
The Voyager out of Point Pleasant reported a good catch of 85 cod up to 38lbs on their Sunday Cod trip.
The Big Janaica of Point Pleasant also reported a nice catch of  cod on their 2/21 offshore cod trip and other party boats like the Paramount, Brielle have been picking away at school cod on their local bottom and wreck trips.
The colder water and abundance of cod up northeast may be contributing to the showing of cod in New Jersery. Hopefully March will prove to be a productive month as well and more cod will take up residence on our wrecks this spring. Check out the links below for detailed reports and schedule...
